Reasons to Buy

Reasons to Avoid
  • The 265KF isn’t the best for gaming
  • It still has an expensive price tag even with the discount

Why you should get this deal

To begin with, we’ve reviewed two RTX 5080 variants, the RTX 5080 FE and the ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5080 OC. We also put the Core Ultra 7 265K through its paces in-house, and the only difference between it and the 265KF is that the latter has a lower overall peak TOPs (Int8) score and doesn’t come with integrated graphics.

RTX 5080

  • This graphics card managed 72 and 75 FPS in Cyberpunk 2077 at 4K ultra settings
  • Was able to churn out 183 and 189 FPS, respectively, in Cyberpunk 2077 with ray tracing overdrive enabled and DLSS 4 and MFG
  • The only GPU that outperforms it is the RTX 5090

Core Ultra 7 265KF

For this section, we’ll use the findings of the 265K to give you an idea of what to expect from the 265KF.

  • Managed 215 points in Blender Monster while the 9700X churned out 128 points
  • Score 33,465 points in the Cinebench R23 multi-core score, which is much higher than the 9700X’s 20,184 points
  • Churned out 191 FPS in Cyberpunk 2077 at 1080p low settings

This means the gaming PC should easily handle 4K gaming since most of the weight is on the graphics card. However, in non-gaming workflows, the processor should really shine as its multi-threaded output is next-level. The 32GB DDR5 RAM should also ensure smooth multitasking without any issues, and we liked that it has a 2TB SSD, as 1TB can fill up quickly depending on how much data you have.

Is this a good deal?

The combination of the Core Ultra 7 265KF and the RTX 5080 is an excellent one, and while the Arrow Lake processors aren’t known for their gaming performance, the 265KF is relatively better than its family members. That being said, productivity is still where it’ll shine best, and you should be able to take any workflow head-on and come out on top, as this hardware is nothing to laugh at.

This gaming PC also has great value as it comes bundled with a gaming mouse and keyboard. This is a good start, and even if they aren’t high-end offerings, they’ll help you save costs, allowing you to invest in better peripherals later on.
