RX 9060 XT 16GB drops to best ever price, thanks to new Amazon GPU deal
Table of Contents
We love that the RX 9060 and 9070 series cards exist, offering viable alternatives to Nvidia GPUs. And, occasionally, you can find a solid discount that flirts somewhat closer to MSRP. For example, the RX 9060 XT 16GB has a base MSRP of $350. Finding a card at that price is tricky, but the XFX Swift AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT OC Gaming Edition just moved noticeably closer.

According to price-tracking site Camelcamelcamel, the XFX card has been at a stable price of $429 since launch. But it’s now 14% off, moving the price down to its best-ever, at $370. That’s just $20 above the MSRP of the 16GB RX 9060 XT, which means that if you want up to 1440p gaming, it’s a much better choice.
Why we like the XFX Swift RX 9060 XT OC
Perfect for cost-effective gaming
Part of the charm of the RX 9060 and 9060 XT was the planned competitive pricing. Yes, opting for any 8GB variant GPU may be cheaper, but longer-term value (and joy) comes from 16GB of VRAM, which this card has. It can blitz 1080p gaming and even offer smooth gaming at 1440p, which for a sub-$400 part is ideal.
Solid choice for content
While more powerful cards will be better for editing video content and streaming, the RX 9060 XT is regarded as capable in both regards. It has enough power to game on, stream on, and even record with, as its 16GB VRAM offers good headroom for all three.
Pleasing design
XFX has long been well-regarded in the GPU market. This Swift RX 9060 XT model has several features we’re fans of. The first is that it comes with a factory overclock, so you’re already getting a slight performance boost. However, XFX has opted for a triple-fan design to help keep things cool, along with a clean and fairly understated design.

What to consider before you buy
This deal was fresh at the time of writing, so Camelcamelcamel’s price history (pic, above) hadn’t yet caught up. Still, getting this OC 16GB 9060 XT at close to the MSRP is a good deal if you don’t need top settings 1440p gaming. If you do, you’ll want to consider the RX 9070 XT or Nvidia RTX 5070. That is another step up in budget, though. What we have here is a fine value-focused option at a great price: a nice early Black Friday 9060 XT deal.
