If you’re not big on finances and are hunting for a budget-friendly gaming PC, the Skytech Crystal gaming PC is worth checking out. It has humble specifications, like the Ryzen 7 7700 and RTX 5050, which are good for 1080p and, at most, 1440p gaming. With a 16% price cut, it has been knocked down from $1,129.99 to $949.99.

So, for less than $1,000, you can get a new gaming PC with great aesthetics, a PC case that gives a clear view of the components, and decent hardware for everyday use. The biggest advantage of this PC is that you can use DLSS 4 and MFG for better gaming performance; however, if you’re looking for something a bit more punchy, the early Black Friday gaming PC deals are worth taking a look at.

Why you should get the Skytech Crystal gaming PC

This isn’t a very powerful gaming PC, given this hardware, it has, but for the price, it is a good option to consider. The Ryzen 7 7700 is an 8-core and 16-thread processor that can handle multitasking, video editing, and other CPU-intensive workflows without causing a drop in performance. So, from that angle, you should be covered with this PC and the 32GB DDR5 RAM running at 5,200 MHz, which should also provide good efficiency and productivity across the board.

The RTX 5050 is a GDDR6 8GB graphics card, meaning you won’t get the speed and bandwidth of GDDR7, but it still has DLSS 4 and MFG to pick up the slack. This card is good for gaming at 1080p and 1440p, but even at 2K, you might not get the best output depending on the title. For example, it managed 77 and 47 FPS at FHD and QHD in Cyberpunk 2077, respectively.

So, in this case, turning on the AI upscaling technologies should push the framerate past the 60 mark for a better gaming experience. Storage is handled by a 1TB SSD, which is decent but not the best, but given its budget nature, this is reasonable. It also has a 650W PSU powering everything, which should be more than enough for this setup.

Is this a good deal?

The answer to this question depends on your use case. If you’ve got tasks like 3D rendering, 4K video editing, and data compression to take care of, then this gaming PC would prove to be underpowered. On the other side, if you just want to play games, browse the web, and handle some intense workflows like editing and designing, then this gaming PC should be able to get the job done easily.

So, depending on your situation, this can be a good or bad deal, but for the price, we think it is offering a good amount of firepower that should be enough to get the dice rolling in various circumstances.
