On the other hand, if you’re trying to get as much app, content, and productivity performance out of your system as you can – and currently have a 5000 series Ryzen 5 or Ryzen 7 – then shifting to the 5950X would make sense, particularly if you can’t afford the Socket AM5 platform and a whole new build.
