The hardware under the hood is decent and reasonable for the price tag, as you’ll get the RTX 5060 for gaming and the powerful Ryzen AI 9 HX 375 for various multi-threaded workflows, meaning excellent productivity. While this isn’t the best gaming laptop we’ve ever seen, it has enough firepower to be a good everyday laptop, and the CPU should ensure you can handle resource-intensive applications as well.

To begin with, the Ryzen AI 9 HX 275 is a flagship processor of the Ryzen AI 300 family, featuring 12 cores, 24 threads, a boost clock of up to 5.1GHz, 16 graphics cores, and an overall TOPS of 85. So, this CPU shouldn’t be taken lightly as it has enough power to handle AI workloads, data compression tasks, training models, and gaming.

So, with it comes to gaming, it should have no issues churning out high framerates with the RTX 5060 at 1080p or 1440p. That being said, this laptop has a 2560 x 1600 resolution with a 240Hz refresh rate, a 3ms response time, anti-glare coating, low blue light, and 500 nits peak brightness.
What this means is that you should be able to enjoy a stable gaming expeirence at FHD or QHD since that is suitable for the RTX 5060. By leveraging, DLSS 4 and MFG, taking the graphics settings to the next level should be possible without experiencing FPS drops. This gaming laptop also comes with a laptop cooler that should help keep it cool while the WiFi 7 fucntionality should ensure a stable and smooth working and gaming experience on the go.
The only downside to this gaming laptop is that it only has 16BG DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD. While this shouldn’t give you any trouble, generally, 32GB RAM and 2TB SSD is a good starting point. So, we’d recommed upgrading it whenever you have the finances for it.
Should you get this gaming laptop?
We think this is a decent laptop and should be worth the price. Since support for Windows 10 has ended, it is great that this laptop comes with Windows 11 Pro pre-installed and boasts great features like WiFi 7, vapor chamber for efficient cooling, OMEN Tempest Cooling Pro, and more.
While the RAM and storage isn’t the best, it can be upgraded to 64GB and 4TB, respectively. This, combined with the powerful flagship processor, you should be able to tackle multi-threaded, resource-intensive tasks head on and come out on top, which should be exceptional given that this is a budget offering.
