What we think
Samsung makes some of the best gaming monitors around, especially when it comes to sheer looks. While some other brands tend to lean quite heavily into a very ‘gamer’ aesthetic, many of Samsung’s monitors have a certain sleekness to them that you don’t often find with high-performance displays. That makes them great for practically any space. This is the kind of monitor we’d recommend for anyone who likes to game on a PC vs console (for console, go for an HDMI 2.1 monitor instead). If they’re into immersive games, then the curved, and large display will help to add to that experience for sure. On the other hand, if they like some more competitive games, then its 240hz refresh rate and low response time can give them the edge…although the size may work against them a bit if it’s an FPS.
Overall though, this is a great deal on one of Samsung’s best monitors that we think will go down a storm on Father’s Day.
