Amazon is offering the MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB GDDR6X for $329.99 which is a 33% discount on its original price of $489.99. This newer version of the RTX 3060 Ti features faster GDDR6X memory.
Here are the key highlights for this graphics card:
- Ampere architecture: The RTX 3060 Ti is based on NVIDIA’s Ampere architecture featuring 2nd generation RT cores and 3rd gen Tensor cores for better computational performance in ray tracing and AI.
- GPU boost: The GPU has a Boost Clock of 1665 MHz. Also, it can even go higher, giving you better performance when needed.
- TORX Fan 3.0: MSI’s fan design is built on alternating traditional blades and dispersion blades to push more airflow into the heatsink. It promises 50% more air pressure than normal GPU fans.
- Tri-fan design: A longer heatsink coupled with three fans help to keep the GPU and VRAMs cooler.
- Metal backplate: The metal backplate not only makes the graphics card look better but also holds thermal pads to help the VRAMs stay cooler.

What we think
RTX 3060 Ti is still one of the best midrange GPUs in the market right now. Considering that its successor – the RTX 4060 Ti – offers very little generational improvement, it makes more sense to opt for its predecessor at a discounted price.
It is sufficiently capable of running modern games such as Cyberpunk 2077 at 1440p. The MSI Ventus 3X has a great-looking design and a bigger heatsink than some of the other variants out there.
