What is in this gaming PC?
Ryzen 7 9700X

One of the best mid-range processors on the market is the Ryzen 7 9700X. It perfectly balances productivity and gaming performance. In our 9700X review, it showcased the same output that thoroughly impressed us. Paired with the RTX 4070 Ti Super it delivered 245 FPS in Days Gone and 325 FPS in Cyberpunk 2077 at 1080p low settings.
For comparison, the 7700X managed 296 and 255 FPS in the same titles. So, the gaming performance is excellent but the same can also be said about its synthetic results as we got 20,184 points in the Cinebench R23 multi-core tests, which is great as it is a demanding benchmark to run. Overall, with this CPU at the core of this gaming PC, you shouldn’t worry about running into any performance issues.
RTX 5070
It hasn’t been made clear which RTX 5070 is part of this gaming PC but fundamentally they are all the same with the same amount of VRAM and processor. So, to paint a picture of the performance of this GPU, we’ll showcase the findings of the MSI Gaming Trio RTX 5070 OC.

This is the overclocked version but you can achieve that with any other non-OC GPU as well. Coupled with the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, this card managed decent output as we saw it holding its own in some titles at 4K. Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered ran with 64 FPS at 4K while more demanding titles like Cyberpunk 2077 ran with 48 FPS.
That being said, 1440p seems like the sweet spot for this GPU and with DLSS 4 and MFG, you should be able to experience very high FPS even with in-game settings maxed out.
RAM, storage, and other hardware
This gaming PC features a 1TB NMVe SSD which should ensure fast load and boot times, 32GB of DDR5 RAM for excellent efficiency, an 850W gold PSU that should supply enough power to every component and leave room for overclocking, a 360mm AIO cooler, and a gaming mouse and keyboard. So, as you can see, there isn’t anything that would be a weakspot and the overall package should deliver solid performance.

Should you get this gaming PC?
For well under $2,000, you’re getting solid components and a gaming mouse and keyboard which adds more value. So, not only are you saving $200 but a lot more as you won’t have to spend getting peripherals. That being said, the aesthetics of this gaming PC are excellent, 4K and 1440p gaming should be easy with it but sticking to 1440p is recommended especially if you’re playing FPS games.
Overall, this is a great gaming PC to consider if you’re not concerned about having an “X3D” processor and don’t want to pursue 4K gaming.
