This card has been shown to have excellent performance in games at resolutions of 1440p and 1080p high. And that is the niche that the RTX 4060 Ti is aiming to fill upon its release.
Now, let’s take a deep dive into the specs, features, and upgrades made by Gigabyte that make this card one that is held in high regard by gamers worldwide.
- Specs: This card features a clock speed of 1815 MHz which is an improvement on the base RTx 3070, it also sports 5888 CUDA Cores, 8 GB GDDR6 VRAM with a speed of 14000 MHz, a 256-bit memory bus and a bandwidth of 448 GBps. What we think
The RTX 3070 has been proven as an excellent GPU that has the specs to hit the sweet spot for 1440p gaming. The RTX 4060 TI 16GB will be the new kid on the block with a July release date set but will have a tough time convincing people of its value as it actually features fewer CUDA Cores and will heavily rely on DLSS 3 to make up for the difference. So for games that aren’t DLSS compatible or for those that take issue with the slight decrease in visual fidelity the RTX 3070 will be your card of choice.
The excellent saving of $80 put this upgraded RTX 3070 around the same price point, if not cheaper than the newly released RTX 4060 series, which this card has a few wins over, so grabbing this card while it’s on offer should be a priority if you’re looking for an excellent upgrade.
