What this PC brings to the table
Intel Core i7-14700KF
While all the attention might be on the Ryzen processors, the previous generation of Intel processors is still a viable option, and many are choosing to stick by them rather than upgrading to Arrow Lake CPUs. The Intel Core i7-14700KF is a powerful mid-range processor that can be easily paired with any processor.
We haven’t reviewed the “KF” variant but have put the 14700K through its paces. The difference between these processors is that the KF doesn’t have integrated graphics, while the K variant does. Other than that, they are similar in all aspects. So, to show you what this CPU should be capable of, we’ll use the real-world performance benchmarks of the 14700K.
The 14700K managed 225 FPS in Cyberpunk 2077 at 1080p low settings and 359 FPS in CS2 at high settings. This was with the RTX 4070, but with the RTX 5070, you should be able to get even better numbers.
RTX 5070
The RTX 5070 is an equally impressive mid-range GPU with 12GB of GDDR7 VRAM. This should be plenty for gaming at 1440p and even push 4K natively in some titles, while others might require the help of DLSS 4 and MFG. It isn’t clear which variant will come with the MSI Aegis RS2, but we’ve reviewed the MSI Gaming Trio RTX 5070 OC, and the performance of this card should paint a clear picture of its capabilities.

It delivered 48 FPS in Cyberpunk 2077 at 4K ultra settings, but in other titles like AC Mirage and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, it churned out 77 and 80 FPS, respectively, which is impressive since no upscaling technologies were used. That being said, when ray tracing overdrive was enabled on Cyberpunk 2077, the FPS dropped to 9, but with the help of DLSS 4 and MFG (4x), it increased to 121 FPS. So, overall, this is a pretty decent graphics card that should pair well with the 14700KF.
Storage, memory, and other components
This gaming PC comes with 2TB of storage, which should be enough for various games and applications, and 32GB of DDR5 RAM, which is a sweet spot for many and should deliver good efficiency and performance. The 14700KF shouldn’t thermal throttle, as a liquid cooler is also part of the package, and to ensure that every component is powered adequately, there is a 750W gold-rated PSU.

Who’s this gaming PC for?
This gaming PC is great for anyone who wants the maximum value for money and has varying workloads to take care of. It can easily handle intense gaming and working sessions, and the supporting hardware is nothing to scoff at either. The build quality should also be good since MSI is a well-reputed brand, and the overall experience with this PC should be smooth.
