Gaming PCs can be costly, but that depends on the components inside them. While Prime Big Deals day is a way off from now, early discounts have started to pop up, and gaming PCs are getting the same treatment as other products. We spotted the Skytech Azure 3 gaming PC that sports the Ryzen 7 9700X and the RTX 4060.
Its price tag has been knocked down by 12% or in easier terms, it went from $1,299.99 to $1,149.99. This is a very reasonable ask for a budget gaming PC, especially one based on the AM5 platform. That being said, this offer has almost been claimed by 50% and only 11 units are left in stock.
- It comes with a very reasonable price tag
- The 9700X should deliver great productivity
- Great for 1080p and 1440p gaming
- Not the most powerful setup
- The RTX 4060 can’t handle 4K gaming
- Only comes with 1TB storage
What made this gaming PC deal stand out
There are many reasons why this gaming PC deal is great, and we’ll go over some of them. However, before we get started, keep in mind that this is a white PC build, which may or may not be to your liking. That being said, when it comes to the hardware and performance, we’ve reviewed the Ryzen 7 9700X and the RTX 4060. So, we’ll showcase their individual benchmarks to paint a picture of what this PC should be capable of.
The RTX 4060 we tested was the ASUS ROG Strix RTX 4060 OC, and that variant churned out 106 and 74 FPS at 1080p and 1440p in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. In more demanding titles like Cyberpunk 2077, we got 77 and 48 FPS, respectively. Depending on the title, it managed high FPS as well, like in Rainbow Six Siege, we got 392 and 241 FPS.
However, it shouldn’t be surprising to learn that it isn’t the GPU for 4K gaming, and even leveraging DLSS 4 might not provide a stable gaming experience at that resolution. Moving on to the processor, the Ryzen 7 9700X is one of the best mid-range CPUs on the market right now, and can be easily paired with much more powerful GPUs without causing a bottleneck.
Deals season is here folks, and with it comes a plethora of eye-catching price cuts on some of the industry's most popular tech. Below are some of the best deals you can find right now.

When we paired it with the RTX 4070 Ti Super, this combination churned out 240 FPS in Days Gone and 325 FPS in Cyberpunk 2077. Keep in mind that both titles were running at 1080p resolution with low settings, and still, the 9700X had no trouble keeping up with the GPU.
Besides the CPU and the GPU, this gaming PC has 16GB DDR5 RAM, 1TB SSD, a 360mm AIO cooler, WiFi, 650W PSU, and pre-installed Windows 11. All of these specifications are decent, but you might need to increase the storage and RAM depending on your usage.
Is this gaming PC worth it?
If you’re operating with limited finances and are looking for a machine with outstanding productivity and decent gaming potential, then we highly recommend considering this gaming PC. While the RTX 4060 isn’t the best budget GPU anymore, it should still be able to run games at 1080p and 1440p easily.
This is great if you mainly play competitive games like CS2 and DOTA 2, which need more framerates rather than maxed out graphics. However, the 9700X should be able to tackle tasks like data compression and video editing, and come out on top easily. When the time comes to upgrade the GPU, you can choose any modern card and pair it with the 9700X.
