What made this gaming PC stand out from the crowd
This gaming PC has decent hardware, and for the price, we think it is a good offering. The Intel Core i5-14400F is a very energy-efficient processor with 10 cores and 16 threads to its name that can run at a maximum of 4.7GHz. What this means is that it should be great for casual tasks and can even handle some demanding applications, but expecting extreme performance and multitasking from it would be too much.
The RTX 5070 is a solid mid-range GPU that can churn out high FPS in any title at 1440p and 1080p, but native 4K gaming isn’t consistent with it. That being said, we’ve reviewed two variants of the RTX 5070: ASUS TUF RTX 5070 OC and MSI Gaming Trio RTX 5070 OC, and this is what is expected from this gaming PC.
As you can see, the 1440p is perfect for this GPU, but in titles that aren’t graphically demanding and are well-optimized, like Counter-Strike 2 and Doom Eternal, it can easily push 4K. As for the other hardware, it offers a 1TB SSD, which is decent but not the best, as we’d prefer at least a 2TB SSD.

A 360mm AIO cooler sits on top of the 14400F, which seems like overkill as this processor doesn’t overheat, and everything is powered by a gold-rated 850W PSU, which has enough overhead that you can upgrade to more powerful components easily.
