This PC packs one of the top 50-series graphics cards for 1440p at ultra settings, the RTX 5070 Ti, and one of Intel’s latest Core Ultra CPUs, the 7 265K. It’s also a very capable card when it comes to creative tasks and workflows, such as 3D rendering or high-resolution video editing.
Versatile and powerful CPU
This build opts for the Intel Core Ultra 7 265K, which is the middle-of-the-road option from Intel’s new lineup. This would be our preferred choice for an RTX 5070 Ti build that’s designed for both gaming and heavy-duty workflows. In short, if you’re using this PC for 1440p gaming and content creation, this would be the best CPU to go for, without spending too much. It has a much higher core and thread count than the most common X3D processors, coming in at 20 cores and 20 threads, making it great for multitasking. On top of that, it has a very high boost clock speed of 5.3Ghz, and a dedicated NPU with 13 TOPS for AI-accelerated tasks.
Unique and effective cooling
HP has actually patented its cooling system used in these PCs, and it’s pretty impressive, truth be told. This Cryo Chamber cooling, as the name suggests, physically separates the CPU’s liquid cooling radiator from the top of the case. This positioning allows it to draw in air from the outside, instead of warmer air from the inside. It’s pretty ingenious and will help keep this PC running at its best, even under heavy loads.

Good storage and RAM
The storage here is decent, but entry-level, and will be enough to hold around eight large AAA games and still give you enough room for other files. For hybrid usage, you’ll want to upgrade for sure. It also has a good amount of DDR5 RAM, 32GB, which is enough for multitasking without slowdown, and playing heavily modded open-world games without running into any issues.
How will this PC perform?
We haven’t yet got our hands on an RTX 5070 Ti to review, so your best bet is to check out other in-depth reviews from trusted sources to get a sense of what to expect. For instance, in one review, the RTX 5070 was able to get 60fps at 1440p, ultra settings with ray tracing enabled in Cyberpunk 2077, and 94 fps with DLSS 4. Indiana Jones, a very demanding title for both the GPU and RAM, got 123fps at 1440p, ultra settings, and Doom Eternal saw a massive 332fps at 1440p, ultra settings, with ray tracing.
Who’s this deal for?
This PC, aside from its small SSD, is actually a very good pick for hybrid usage and ideal for those who want something for 1440p at ultra settings, but also something that can handle demanding workflows and multitasking. For something that’s going to be a bit better for 4K, we’d say you should check out an RTX 5080 prebuild instead, some of which can be only a couple of hundred dollars more when on sale. For more gaming-specific builds, you may also want to explore an RTX 5070 Ti and Ryzen 7 9800X3D option, as their significantly large L3 cache dramatically improves gaming performance.
