Stunning 100-inch 4K TV dips a further $500 to new lowest price

The excellent Hisense 100-inch Class U8 TV only arrived in April, making it a very new model of TV. It’s already seen one significant price drop and is now getting another discount.
As a giant 4K Mini-LED TV, it is expected to have a large price tag, and when it was first listed on Amazon in April, it was priced at a colossal $7,000. It quickly fell to $5,000 but has been seen back at its list price too. Not now, though, as the price has slumped again, by 35% off its original sticker price, dropping the cost to $4,540.

Who is this 100-inch 4K TV deal for?
Not your ordinary-sized TV, if you’re keen on a large home-theater-focused TV with impressive size and quality (and gaming credentials), this deal may be for you. The Hisense 100U8QG is a TV well below its list price, and was new to the market in April. So it has the latest features, and hasn’t cost less so far.
If you do plan to get a large TV with games being a big reason, it is worth knowing that this TV can connect via USB-C as an alternate PC gaming display. However, while connected via USB-C, neither 1080p @ 288Hz nor VRR is usable. Additionally, the pixel transition speed is reportedly behind what you’d expect from a dedicated gaming monitor. So if PC gaming is key, do bear that in mind.
