Stunning LG C2 65-inch OLED TV hits record-low price on Amazon

Spring Sales may be coming up, but we’re already seeing some massive deals roll in on TVs that can’t be ignored. Case in point, it looks like the legendary LG C2 OLED TV is on sale with a massive 45% off on Amazon, bringing its price down from $2,496.99 to a much more affordable $1,369.00. Now it should be said that the price of this TV has been trending down since release, as we’ve seen both C3 and C4 series follow since. While it’s a massive saving on the list price, the big thing here is that its at its all-time-low on Amazon, beating its original lowest price by around $200 – which is a real win.
The LG C2 made waves on its release as it followed after the impressive LG C1, improving even further on its chipset, picture quality, and design. It was (and still is) one of the go-to TVs for gamers, thanks to features like Nvidia G-sync and of course, its 120hz refresh rate. It’s a fantastic option if you’ve got a PS5 or Xbox Series X, but it can also be used with a gaming PC too.
Here’s a closer look at some of the standout features.

- Infinite contrast – OLED panels have self illuminating pixels which means they can essentially ‘switch off’. That means that for dark areas of the picture, you’re getting very deep blacks, and therefore incredible contrast on top of a super crisp image quality. This is great for gaming too, as it makes everything look way more immersive and realistic.
- Brightness booster – the one gripe about the LG C1 was that it wasn’t super bright, but this time around with the C2 they introduced a brightness booster that gives a 20% improvement, meaning this TV not only has better picture quality, but it’s also better for brighter rooms too.
- New slimmer bezels – this is a stunning TV from a design perspective, especially as it’s slimmed down the bezels compared to the C1. This looks super high-end when you see it in person, and really adds some luxury to the room you’re placing it in.
- α9 Gen5 AI Processor 4K – this is the chipset in the TV and it essentially adjusts settings on the fly to ensure the picture and sounds quality is optimal. The better the chipset in these TVs the better it will be at upscaling to 4K, which is important as much of the content we watch is not native 4K.
- 120hz refresh rate with Nvidia G-Sync – as mentioned, this is the real winner for gamers, especially for those playing on PS5 or Xbox Series X. In short, you need a TV with 120hz so you have the option to go as high as 120fps.
Is it the best time to buy?
I’ve taken a look at the pricing history of the LG C2 via camelcamelcamel, and I’d say it’s a good time to buy the TV as it appears to be at its lowest price ever on Amazon, the previous being $1,543.96 on April 14th, 2023. Spring Sales are on the way, which may see further reductions on the C2 series, but whether it’ll drop say, below $1000, is yet to be seen.
