Understanding this TV
Sometimes there’s a fair whack of jargon when it comes to TVs, especially when each brand has its own terms for everything. Here’s what this TV has in plain speak, plus some of the features that stand out.
- OLED panel: Self illuminating pixels essentially mean amazing contrast, color, and brightness for more true to life picture quality. OLED TVs are the top tier, and up there with QD-OLED TVs which combine QLED and OLED technology for a brighter, more colorful image, but slightly less contrast than OLED.
- Object tracking sound Lite: As the name suggest, this TV tracks the sound of an object as it moves on the screen. Picture an explosion on the left side and a car wheel flying across to the right side of the screen in a movie you’re watching. The TV will recognise that and place the audio so it’s in line with those objects. In short – it’s super immersive, and great for movies and gaming.
- Motion Xcelerator: This is a feature that reduced motion blur when things start moving fast on screen. It’s a bit of a ‘trick’ that can help TVs appear that they’re reaching higher frames per second than what they’re capable of – but nonetheless, it’s a great thing to have if you’re watching sports or playing fast-paced games, like first-person shooters or racing games.
- 120hz refresh rate: Means it can achieve up to 120fps at 4K, but word of caution, it’s rare to achieve that, even with a PS5 and most gaming PCs (although more possible with the latter). It’s good though, especially if you’re gaming on PS5 and Xbox Series X.
- Real Depth Enhancer: Another clever feature that basically predicts the object you’ll be looking at on screen (let’s say, a person), and automatically increases the foreground contrast, which is apparently what we do in real-life. It’s another way of making the picture look more realistic.
- Dolby Atmos: Pretty standard with most TVs nowadays, but it’s a surround sound technology that allows for a 3D soundscape. A must have if you’re planning on getting a set of speakers to pair with this TV.
Who’s this TV for?
So this TV is basically for anyone who is sticking to a budget of under $1000, but wants to get something pretty high-end. I think for the price, it delivers a fair bit for your money, but I personally wouldn’t put this near its listed price, as it’s quite ‘basic’ in terms of what it offers.

It’s a good TV for sure, but if you learn towards some of the LG C-series at this size, you’ll find a few more features that make it more suitable for gaming for example.
This is a TV that’ll be great for everyday usage though, and it’s let’s face it, it’s great to look at from a design perspective – especially since it has a small foot base, which means you can fit it on even a smaller table.
Overall, even though I think this TV would hover around the $1000 – $1200 mark, it’s still a good deal to jump on from one of the leading brands on the market.
