What we like about this Thermaltake LCGS View gaming PC
RX 9070 XT graphics card
The RX 9070 XT is a brilliant card for 1440p and even 4K, and is arguably one of the best price-to-performance graphics cards on the market, rivaling even some of Nvidia’s alternatives. One area that impresses, for the price, is its 16GB of VRAM. Granted, it’s GDDR6 and not GDDR7, but it’s still an ample amount that can be used effectively to handle detailed textures and higher resolutions. It also features FSR 4 upscaling technology, plus improved ray tracing and AI capabilities.
Intel Core i7-14700F
This 14th-Gen Intel processor is a great option for those looking for something that packs a punch for gaming, but also performs well with heavy-duty multitasking, too. It’s got an impressive core and thread count (20 + 28), and a very high boost clock speed of 5.4GHz, alongside a large 33MB L3 cache. We’d say if you were going for all-out gaming performance, something like the Ryzen 7 7800X3D would pair well with this graphics card, but if you’re using this PC for gaming, productivity, and creative work, this Intel CPU is the way to go, and cost-effective, too.

High-speed RAM and decent-sized SSD
You’ve got 32GB of DDR5 5600Mhz RAM in this build, which is certainly enough to handle multople intensive applications at the same time, and allow you to play heavily modded games. On top of that, you’ve got a decent zied 1TB SD, which is a Gen4 NVMe model. This is not bad, and something that can store a lighter gaming library alongside your files; however, you may want to upgrade if you’re planning on having more than ten AAA games installed, for instance.
Amazing design
This build is housed in a Thermaltake PC case, which delivers on both looks and airflow. You’ve got a tempered glass panel allowing you full view of the inner workings of this PC, too, and here’s a decent amount of aRGB lighting that we think gives it a nice visual touch. It’s also on the smaller side, coming in at 8.66″ tall, making it a good call if you’re going for something for your desktop that won’t take up too much room.

How will this PC perform?
To give you an idea of how this PC should perform, we can use our review of an ASUS Prime RX 9070 XT OC graphics card. We found this card capable of RTX 4080 levels of performance with some games, which is seriously impressive given the more affordable price point. With Cyberpunk 2077 at ultra settings, it was able to get 129fps/ 1440p, 51fps/ 1440p RT, and 61fps/4K, 25fps/ 4K RT. Less challenging titles like Doom Eternal on ultra settings saw 387fps/ 1440p, 249fps/ 1440p RT, and 228fps/ 4K, 154fps/ 4K RT.
