What we like about this Thermaltake LCGS View i570 gaming PC

Great mid-range 50-series GPU

If you’re looking for something great for 1440p that doesn’t completely break the bank, the RTX 5070 is a good way to go. It has 6144 CUDA cores, 12GB of GDDR7 memory, and a 192-bit bus. It’s also built on Nvidia’s Blackwell architecture, which improves greatly on the last generation, and gives you access to newer features, such as DLSS 4 and MFG, which can help boost framerates higher. While it can be used for 4K with a few tweaks, it’s best used as a 1440p graphics card, and can achieve some pretty impressive frame rates, even without added assistance.

Top-tier Intel 14th Gen CPU

The Intel i9-14900KF is one of the best Intel has to offer from its 14th generation of processors. They may not be as new and swanky as the more recent Intel Core Ultra lineup, but this one in particular is a real beast when it comes to both gaming and productivity performance. It features 24 cores, 32 threads, a boost clock of 6GHz, which is one of the highest you can get, and a large 36MB L3 cache. While the Ryzen 7 9800X3D may be better suited for gaming, specifically, we think this processor is a much more versatile option for hybrid users.

High-speed RAM

This gaming PC features 32GB of DDR5 RAM, which has memory speeds of 6000MHz. That’s on the upper end when it comes to RAM speeds, which is great to see, and having 32GB is going to be great for keeping your system running responsively.

Decent-sized SSD

You’ve got a 1TB SSD here, which is Gen4. That’s not bad, especially if you’ve only got a few games on rotation, but if you want something for content creation as well, you may want to upgrade to at least 2TB.

Stylish design

Not a million miles away from another favorite of ours, the Skytech Azure, this gaming PC is super clean, and we love the tempered glass panels that give you full view of the hardware, much of which is RGB. If you’re going for something more toned down and a bit more understated, we think this PC ticks the right boxes.

How should this PC perform?

To give you an idea of how this PC could perform, we can use some of our ASUS TUF RTX 5070 graphics card benchmarks. If you want to check out its 4K performance, feel free to head to our review, but since we think this is better suited to higher settings, 1440p, we’ll share a few benchmarks around that here. Cyberpunk 2077 got 108fps/ 1440p and 45fps with ray tracing, which is pretty impressive to be honest. Doom Eternal was playable at a massive 316fps at 1440p and 212fps with ray tracing, and Indiana Jones, which is notorious for being demanding on VRAM, was playable at 152fps at 1440p. As expected, its 12GB of VRAM is a bit of a limiter, but it’s still great for high fps 1440p even with ray tracing.

Who’s this deal for?

Coming in at $1,699.99, this PC is actually pretty good value for your money, and quite competitively priced considering it features a top-end 14th-gen CPU. As mentioned, we’d say this is best used for 1440p, and paired with a decent QHD monitor. If you want higher fps with ray tracing, we’d say you’re better off with RTX 5070 Ti, which has 16GB of VRAM. They’re usually around $2100 when discounted, but can be over $2500 in some cases. Check out some of our top PC deals below to see what’s out there.
