Black Friday is finally here, and the graphics card deals are rolling in. MSI, in particular, is delivering the goods right now, with many of its popular GPUs currently sitting at their best prices on Amazon. That includes this RTX 5060 Ti 16GB graphics card is down 14%, reduced from $554.99 to $479.99.

This graphics card is ideal for those who want something very capable for both 1080p and 1440p gaming, excellent for moderately demanding creative workflows, and for anyone looking to take advantage of the significant AI performance improvements of Nvidia’s new Blackwell architecture. It’s also great if you’re looking for a graphics card for a more compact PC build that delivers the goods when it comes to aesthetics, as it features some eye-catching aRGB lighting, which is fully customizable, too.

MSI Gaming RTX 5060 Ti 16G Gaming OC Graphics Card – 16GB GDDR7

128-bit, Extreme Performance: TBA MHz, DisplayPort x 3 2.1a, HDMI 2.1b, NVIDIA Blackwell Architecture)

Key features of this MSI Gaming RTX 5060 Ti 16GB OC graphics card

Nvidia Blackwell Architecture and 16GB of GDDR7 RAM

The latest and greatest Nvidia has to offer, Blackwell Architecture boasts a wide range of improvements that make 50-series cards like this one stand out from the crowd. Notably, you’re getting some of the latest gen CUDA, ray tracing, and tensor cores, alongside new and improved GDDR7 VRAM, which has significantly higher bandwidth and better performance than GDDR6. One feature that’s great for pushing frame rates higher and improving performance is MFG, which will come in handy when gaming at higher resolutions with this card. In terms of VRAM, you’ve got 16GB here, which is a good amount for both 1080p and 1440p gaming, alongside being more appropriate than 8GB for complex creative workloads, such as 3D rendering.

Advanced cooling

This graphics card may be on the smaller side, but it doesn’t sacrifice cooling performance. Its TORX 4.0 fans are designed for maximum air pressure, but quiet operation, and can also completely stop when temperatures drop with light usage. It also tweaks a few of your standard cooling components, offering a wave curved heatsink to reduce turbulence and optimize heat dissipation, alongside square-shaped core pipes designed for maximum contact with the GPU itself. On top of this, there’s a reinforced metal backplate to provide more structural integrity, which also features thermal pads and airflow vents to allow for hot air to pass through effectively.

Stylish design

The big thing here is MSI’s stunning Mystic Lighting, which can be controlled through its MSI Center software. It has a load of different effects, such as rainbow, breathing, and more, plus it can also change to indicate GPU temperature, too. It also goes without saying that it can sync with other MSI components, such as RAM and CPU coolers.

Considerations and alternatives

The RTX 5060 Ti 16GB is a great all-rounder graphics card for the price, but if you’re after better 1440p performance, you may want to explore some of the RTX 5070 options on the market. These may have less VRAM, but they’re significantly more powerful thanks to their wider bus and higher CUDA core count. We’re spotting a fair few of these in the Black Friday sales, so it’s worth taking a look at what’s out there before making your final call.
