This stylish Stormcraft Falcon gaming PC is currently $300 off at Newegg, and is coming in at $1,899.99, which is a great price considering what brings to the table.

If you’re short on time, here’s what you need to know. It’s an RTX 5070 build, so you’re getting 12GB of VRAM and a graphics card loaded with modern Blackwell features, like MFG and improved ray tracing and AI capabilities. It also features the impressive Ryzen 7 7800X3D, which is still one of the best gaming CPUs money can buy, thanks to its massive 96MB L3 cache, which makes it adept for high-fps gaming with low latency, especially at FHD and QHD resolution. That’s bolstered by a hefty 32GB of DDR5, for even smoother gaming performance.

Overall, this is the type of PC that’s going to be excellent for QHD gaming, and for those who want a PC built on a powerful AM5 foundation that’s primed for upgrades in the future, too. Read on for a closer look at this PC’s key components and features, and for more PC deals.

Key features and components of this Stormcraft Falcon gaming PC

Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor

This AM5 CPU features 8 cores, 16 threads, a 5Ghz boost clock speed, and 96MB L3 cache. It’s a powerhouse for gaming, largely due to its unique 3D V-cache technology, and a very strong pairing with the RTX 5070.

RTX 5070 graphics card

12GB of GDDR7 VRAM, 4th-gen ray tracing cores, and 5th-gen tensor cores are just some of the features that make this card one of the best for QHD gaming. It’s also a great middle-of-the-road pick for creatives, offering up a good amount of raw power for rendering and demanding creative tasks, while being a fair bit more affordable than the RTX 5070 Ti.\

32GB of DDR5

This 6000MHz DDR5 is ideal if you’re playing modern AAA games, which are asset-heavy, and want as smooth performance as possible. If you’re playing open-world titles and simulators, this is a game-changer.

1TB SSD

Not bad for the price, but it will be better if you’re playing a few games on rotation, rather than building out a huge gaming library.

Things to consider before buying

The only real consideration I’d be making here is whether I wanted to up my budget to an RTX 5070 Ti build, for better QHD performance and 4K capabilities, but in honesty, if you’re looking for one with an X3D processor, you’ll be paying much closer to $2,400 in my experience. I’d say a good mid-ground option would be an RX 9070 XT, Ryzen 7 7800X3D build, which can trade blows with an RTX 5070 Ti with rasterization performance.
