If you’re going for an RTX 5070 gaming PC, but don’t mind pushing the boat out for something super stylish, with plenty of RAM and storage, and a powerhouse CPU, then you’ll want to check out this deal. This premium Xidax X-6 Series gaming PC is currently over $200 off at Newegg, and reduced from $2,499.99 to $2,291.99. This PC doesn’t go the way of your typical RTX 5070 build, and instead opts for one of the best gaming CPUs on the market, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 32GB of DDR5, and a large 2TB SSD. On top of that, it’s all housed in a great-looking and more compact PC case with aRGB throughout, which we think makes it one of the best-looking prebuilds we’ve come across.

Key features of this Xidax X-6 Series gaming PC

RTX 5070 graphics card

One of the best graphics cards if you’re looking for excellent 1440p gaming performance, and all the latest features from Nvidia’s Blackwell architecture, without the hefty price tag. Alongside its 12GB of new and improved GDDR7 VRAM, it boasts 4th-gen ray tracing and 5th-gen tensor cores, which allow for significant performance uplifts in their respective areas. There’s also the 50-series exclusive MFG, or multi-frame generation, which can be used to boost perceived framerates dramatically. This is a must-have if you’re planning on using this card for some 4K from time to time; however, we’d say it works best at 1440p, as per our in-depth review right here.

Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor

The familiar favorite, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, is the top gaming CPU you can buy right now, without blowing all your cash on the beastly Ryzen 9 9950X3D that is. It boasts 8 cores, 16 threads, and a boost clock speed of 5.3Ghz, but it’s the cache that’s the big deal here. It’s designed, or stacked, in a way to hold much more data for quicker access, which in turn significantly reduces frame latency and improves gaming performance. For high fps gaming, this is the processor you’ll want at your disposal. Read our full review here for more details.

Storage and RAM

There’s a good offering here in the form of 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a large 2TB SSD. This amount of RAM is going to be great for gaming, especially titles that are heavily modded, simulators, and open-world games. It’s also going to be good for creative applications that are particularly RAM-intensive, such as some of the more popular video editing applications, for example. Not only that, but it’s obviously going to improve multitasking performance, too. The 2TB SSD is enough for a large gaming library, and shouldn’t fill up too quickly even with a bunch of AAA games stored on it. Win, win.

Things to consider

In short, this is pretty expensive for an RTX 5070 build, but that does appear to be the theme with Xidax prebuilt PCs, and we can see why, given their quality, design, and choice of components. That said, if you’re fixed on an RTX 5070 above everything else, you can even find PCs that are around the $1,500 mark that will have them. Of course, they’re going to be more budget-oriented, so manage your expectations with the quantity of RAM, the tier of CPU, and the amount of storage. Check out some of Skytech’s options as well as MSI’s, which are surprisingly affordable and still look every bit as premium as its higher-end models, too.
