We’ve spotted a cracking discount at Newegg, which has nerfed the price of this epic Xidax X6 Onami Black gaming PC down by over $680, reducing it from $3,499.99 to $2,813.99. Xidax gaming PCs are by far some of the most stylish prebuilds you can get, boasting very high-end build quality for a more premium price point. At this price, this gaming PC is actually a more affordable RTX 5080 model, though, and that’s likely down to its clever choice of CPU. Instead of going for a recently released X3D model, you’ve got a Ryzen 7 7800X3D instead, which was the ‘former’ king of gaming processors. It’s still a powerhouse, though, and a great pairing with something like the RTX 5080. On top of that, it features 32GB of DDR5 and a large 2TB for all your storage needs.

Key features of this Xidax X6 Onami Black Gaming PC

RTX 5080 16GB graphics card

If you don’t fancy shelling out the big bucks for the RTX 5090, then the RTX 5080 is going to be your best option for 4K gaming. It’s a powerhouse graphics card, and built on Nvidia’s new Blackwell architecture, which brings with it a whole host of exclusive features and performance improvements over the previous generation. You’ve got newer, faster GDDR7 VRAM, 4th-gen ray tracing cores, 5th-gen tensor cores, multi-frame generation upscaling, 9th-gen Nvidia encoders, and more, making it one of the best graphics cards you can buy right now. Read our full RTX 5080 FE review for a deeper dive.

Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor

An older release, but still an absolute unit for gaming, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D is one of the best gaming CPUs you get, and nowadays, a more affordable option, too. It boasts 8 cores, 16 threads, a boost clock speed of 5Ghz, and a large 96MB L3 cache. This 3D V-cache is uniquely designed to reduce frame latency, as it’s stacked in a way to allows for more data to be stored for quicker access. This translates into significant performance improvements in-game and higher framerates. Read our review for a closer look at how it performed in our testing.

Storage and RAM

As expected, this high-end build goes for 2TB of storage and 32GB of DDR5. While this is pretty standard, it’s more than welcome, as it gives you enough headroom for demanding games, applications, and multitasking, and enough storage to let you save loads of AAA games without fear of it filling up or having to spend time on space management.

Things to consider

As mentioned, this is more of a premium build, but you can find cheaper ones with similar specs if you shop around. We’ve spotted RTX 5080 gaming PCs with X3D processors going for closer to $2,500 at Newegg when on sale, especially for the likes of Skytech, which also has some pretty stylish PC cases, too. It’s also worth considering whether the 7800X3D is right for you. There is an Xidax RTX 5080 option with an Intel Core Ultra 7-265K, which could be more up your street if you want something better for content creation and multitasking, and don’t mind trading off a bit of gaming performance.
