Key specs and features
Slim, lightweight, and durable
The Galaxy S25 Edge is one of Samsung’s slimmest S Series phones, weighing in at just 163g and only 0.23 inches thick. It’s ideal for those who don’t want something that weighs heavily in their pocket or bag. Thankfully, its titanium build and Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 face make it super durable, too.
Impressive camera setup
Despite being super slim, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge boasts an impressive 200MP camera, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 12MP front camera. It offers 2x optical zoom and up to 10x digital zoom, with its main camera producing vibrant, sharp photos, which can be boosted with AI software.
Powerful processor
This phone packs the Snapdragon 8 Elite, which is an impressive processor that offers faster multitasking, longer gaming sessions, and overall improvements in efficiency that help preserve battery life. It also features an advanced NPU, which helps to accelerate AI workloads, like AI-assisted photo editing. On top of that, it also supports APV codec, which is designed for high-quality video recording and post-production, making it a good chipset to have at your disposal if you’re a professional content creator.
Fast and high-resolution screen
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge has a QHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The higher the resolution, the crisper and detailed everything looks on screen, and the higher the refresh rate, the smoother scrolling and gaming is, too. It’s an AMOLED 2x display, too, which means that you’re getting incredible brightness, color, and contrast. In fact, its peak brightness is a massive 2600 nits, which is seriously impressive, and a good indicator that you’ll be able to see what’s on screen even in bright light environments.

Pricing history

As you can see from the graph, this smartphone has only recently dropped back to its lowest price again on Amazon. Since we’re around a week away from the Black Friday sales, we wouldn’t be surprised if it stayed at this price from this point; however, we can’t be certain. It’s also worth noting that this particular phone hasn’t been close to its list price for some time, but the recent discount still gives you a decent saving on its average price of around $1000.
Considerations before you buy
This is an incredible phone, but there’s one thing that stands out, which you may want to factor into your decision: its battery life. It comes in at just 3900 mAh, which isn’t great in all honesty. It’s understandable, as this is a super slim phone, but there are other options much closer to 5000 mAh that won’t have you lugging around a powerbank or trying to find a socket. The camera offering is good, but it does lack some of the features you’d find on other models, too, and its low-light performance and clarity beyond its 2x zoom could be a limited factor if you’re going for outright picture quality.
