Lenovo 2025 Legion Tower 7i Gen 10 Gaming Desktop

with Intel Core Ultra 9 285K 5.50 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 16GB GDDR7 Graphics, 3YR Warranty, 32GB DDR5 Memory, 2TB SSD (2 x 1 TB), and Wi-Fi 6E

Key features of this Lenovo Legion Tower 7i Gen 10 Gaming Desktop

RTX 5080 graphics card

One of the very best graphics cards you can buy for 4K gaming and demanding creative workloads. The RTX 5080 boasts 16GB of faster GDDR7 VRAM and is built on Nvidia’s new Blackwell Architecture. This brings with it several benefits, including the latest 4th-gen ray tracing cores, 5th-gen tensor cores, and new features like DLSS 4 with MFG. In terms of performance, in our own RTX 5080 FE review, we saw it easily hitting 30fps+ in 4K at ultra settings with ray tracing on with Cyberpunk 2077, which is a good benchmark to use as it’s a very demanding game to run. Other titles, like Doom Eternal, got 191fps in 4K with ray tracing, on the other hand.

Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor

The top dog of the Intel Core Ultra lineup, and often found paired with either the RTX 5080 or RTX 5090. It’s a very well-rounded, high-end CPU that boasts a much higher core and thread count than your typical Ryzen X3D alternatives. It comes in with 24 cores, 24 threads, a boost clock speed of 5.7GHz, and has a large 36MB L3 cache. There’s also a dedicated NPU with 13 TOPS, which can be useful for productivity, especially actions like video call background blurring or speech recognition. An excellent processor if you’re looking for solid gaming and multitasking performance, and a good option for creative professionals, too. Read our full review here.

RAM and storage

You’ve got 32GB of high-speed DDR5 RAM in this build, and a large 2TB SSD. For the price, that’s to be expected, and it’s enough to keep everything running smoothly and handle more demanding games and applications. Its storage is also more than enough for most, and you should be able to easily fit around 15 large AA games on it, and still have a fair bit left over for other files.

Cooling and design

This PC is one of the sleekest PCs we’ve come across, featuring a high-end, premium finish and materials, with your classic tempered glass side panels, and aRGB throughout. On top of that, it has a robust 250W 360mm liquid cooling system, with several fans to help keep everything running at its best, without excessive operational noise.

Things to consider

This is a great price for a gaming PC like this, especially as it features the top-tier Intel Core Ultra processor. Funily enough, it’s the CPU that’s the thing to consider, though, as for all-out gaming performance for a similar price, we’d say you’re better off going with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D instead. It has a much larger 96MB L3 cache, but smaller core and thread count, making it better for reducing frame latency in-game, but not as good for multitasking. For hybrid usage, though, the Intel 9 285K is a great way to go.
