What we like about this Skytech Gaming PC

This gaming PC gives you a lot of bang for your buck thanks to its excellent graphics card and impressive CPU. It’s a little scaled back in some areas, with a moderate amount of DDR4 RAM, but this PC gives you everything you need for 1440p gaming without being overkill.

Excellent GPU for 1440p: The RTX 4070 is considered a high-end 1440p graphics card, and one that’s now one of the more affordable options on the market too.
Good CPU: The Ryzen 7 5700X may be an older AM4 processor, but it’s still a quality option for gaming. It boasts 8 cores, 16 threads, a boost clock speed of 4.6 GHz, a big 32MB L3 cache, and low TDP of 65W.
Decent storage: This PC has a 1TB SSD, which is about 10 AAA-games in terms of storage.
More than enough RAM: 16GB of RAM is great for gaming and everyday usage.

Who’s this deal for and is it the best time to buy?

This gaming PC is a great if you want something excellent for 1440p, but don’t nessariliy need the absolute latest tech. This is a more ‘basic’ offering when it comes to gaming PCs, and I’d say it would be a good first buy if you’re interested in dipping your toe into this space.

As for whether it’s the best time to buy, as you can see from the graph above it does look like it’s currently near its lowest price again. It also seems that this gaming PC doesn’t see this level of discount often, so I’d say it’s worth jumping on if you’re interested.
