TCL’s brilliant 32″ QD-Mini LED QHD gaming monitor has dropped to its 90-day low price on Amazon
Table of Contents
This excellent 32-inch TCL QHD gaming monitor is down to its 90-day low price on Amazon, coming in at $349.99 with a 13% discount. Now, this monitor brings a lot to the table, especially for the price. Before I break down its key components, here’s the quick version if you’re short on time.
This is a QD-mini-LED, 180Hz gaming monitor, designed to deliver bright, high-contrast picture quality with accurate color and capable of delivering smooth gameplay at relatively high frame rates. Essentially, this monitor is a brighter alternative to your typical OLED, but it has a few features that improve its contrast over your typical LED IPS displays. For instance, it has a Fast HVA panel, which allows for a 3500:1 contrast ratio, which is higher than most IPS alternatives. Additionally, it features TCL’s Halo Control System to reduce blooming and improve high-contrast scenes even further.
TCL 32G64 32 Inch 1440P (QHD) QD Mini LED Gaming Monitor
This is an impressive monitor in its own right, which is going to be much brighter than your typical, more affordable OLED displays and offers a large, expansive display without requiring you to have a 4K-ready gaming PC. For well-lit rooms and daytime usage, this is a solid pick for the price.

What we like about this 32″ TCL QD-mini-LED QHD monitor
VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification
Most monitors are DisplayHDR 400, as they can often only hit 400 nits of brightness. With this monitor, it can reach up to 600 nits peak, which is brighter than most OLEDs, too.
336 local dimming zones
The more dimming zones, the more precise a monitor’s control over brightness and contrast, and ultimately, the better the resulting picture quality. This is a good amount for the size and price, but you can find monitors with even more if you up your budget.
Excellent color
99% sRGB and 96% DCI-P3 color coverage, with Delta E<2 accuracy, mean that this monitor is going to make games look fantastic and lifelike, but it also makes it quite adept as a creative workstation for editing, too.
180Hz and 1ms response time
Not bad, and more than enough for competitive gaming. This will allow you to hit around 180fps at QHD, which makes it much more appropriate for mid-range QHD builds.
Things to consider before buying
So there are a couple of things I’d consider before jumping on this deal. First off, 32-inch is about as large as you’d want to go in QHD, with 27-inch being preferable for PPI and overall picture clarity. Secondly, 180Hz is great for more entry-level QHD gaming PCs, but doesn’t give you a load of headroom if you’re planning on upgrading to something more powerful in the near future. I’d say an RTX 5070 would work well with this monitor, but an RTX 5070 Ti would be much better with something with at least 240Hz to 280Hz.
