In our Intel Core i7-13700K review, we paired it with the RTX 4070 Ti Super and ran a bunch of tests. Here is how it performed:
In gaming, we got 292 FPS in Days Gone at 1080p low and 325 FPS in Cyberpunk 2077 with 156 and 299 FPS 1% lows, respectively. So, despite its age, this processor had no issues churning out more instructions for the RTX 4070 Ti Super and kept up with it.
On the other hand, during synthetic testing, we ran a couple of software programs, but we’ll use the Cinebench R23 test as a reference because it is demanding on the CPU. In the single- and multi-core tests, we got 2,095 and 30,108 points, respectively. To explain how good these figures are, the Ryzen 9 9900X managed 2,205 and 31,502 points in the same test, and that is based on the latest Zen 5 architecture.
