RX 9070 XT
One of the best graphics cards of modern times, the RX 9070 XT made huge waves when it released, and months after that, it is still as popular, if not more, and the demand for this GPU is very high. It has taken over its competition due to the performance it is offering at a much lower rate.
We also got our hands on this graphics card to review it, the ASUS Prime RX 9070 XT OC, to be exact, and we’ll showcase our findings to give you an idea of its capabilities. We paired it with the 9800X3D and ran a couple of games. In F1 24, we got 75 FPS at 4K and 131 FPS at 1440p. Cyberpunk 2077 also ran above 60 FPS at 4K, with 61 FPS, and managed 129 FPS at 2K.

Doom Eternal was running at 228 FPS at 4K, and all of these figures are native, meaning FSR 4 wasn’t used. So, as you can see, it can easily push 4K despite being a mid-range GPU with 16GB GDDR6 VRAM.
Ryzen 7 9800X3D
The 9800X3D can handle the RTX 5090 without causing a bottleneck, so it should keep your rig running for years to come. The RX 9070 XT should also complement its capabilities well, and when we tested its gaming output by running Cyberpunk 2077 and CS2 at 1080p low settings, we got 334 and 604 FPS, respectively.
However, its performance can be increased by leveraging Precision Boost Overdrive (PBO), which can be enabled via BIOS settings. Keep in mind, doing so will also ramp up its power draw and thermal output. When we enabled PBO, the FPS in CS2 increased to 669, and during synthetic testing, it also gave a nice boost, which managed to compete with the output of the 9700X.
Other hardware
To put everything together, a B650 motherboard serves as the foundation, and besides that, it has 32GB of DDR5 RAM running at 6,000 MHz, a 2TB SSD, an 850W gold-rated PSU, and Windows 11 pre-installed. So, there isn’t anything to complain about and it should be more than enough for intense gaming and working sessions.
