These TVs would be great for PS5, and they’re all on sale

Table of Contents
If you’ve got a PS5 or PS5 Pro or are planning on grabbing one, then it’s super important that you get a quality TV to match and really showcase what it can offer. In fact, with the PS5 Pro offering even sharper image quality, better ray tracing, and enhanced AI upscaling, it’s arguably more important than ever.
At its simplest, a good TV for PS5 would be something that is 4K and with a 120hz refresh rate. But there are some additional features that can take it from good to great. These include things like VRR, Adaptive Sync technology, game-modes, and of course, a bright, high-contrast display.
I’ve scouted out five TVs that I think would be excellent pairings with a PS5, and that all on sale too. I’ve also selected these to give a wide range of different options for different budgets. Feel free to skip straight to the deals via the box below, or stick around for my brief breakdown of each model.

Which one is right for you?
Here’s a quick break down of each TV and what they bring to the table. My personal pick would be the LG C2, which offers great value for money, excellent picture quality, and premium gaming features. That being said the Hisense option is also very appealing, and much more wallet friendly.

If you want to experience the very best picture quality and really up the immersion when gaming on PS5, you’ll want to head to the OLEDs. The best way to find these for less is to go directly to the LG C-series, namely its C2 line. These TVs have everything you need to make the most out of your PS5, including VRR, Adaptive Sync Technology, and more. It’s even got a brightness booster, which was a welcome improvement over the somewhat dim LG C1.
Even though this is a couple years old, it’s still well worth it for PS5, and it’s now reduced from $2,496.99 to $1,176.95, which is over 50% off its list price.

TCL 55-Inch QM6K QLED
This TV is coming in at $548 and is one of the more entry-level options on the list. Key standout features here are its QD-Mini LED display, Halo control system, and 144hz refresh rate with AMD Freesync Premium Pro.
QD-Mini LED TVs are known for their brightness and color, while the Halo control system helps to preserve crisp image quality even when contrast is high. The 144hz refresh rate here is exactly what you should be looking for to allow for higher fps gaming, and it also features the highest level of adaptive sync technology too.
Overall, this is an excellent entry level option for PS5, and gives you a tonne of value for money.

Hisense 65-Inch Class U7 Series Mini-LED
This comes in at $698.00, down from almost $1000, and there’s a lot to like here. It’s got a 144hz refresh rate, with VRR and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, plus Low Latency MEMC. This all adds up to a very smooth gaming experience, that should feel very responsive to your controller inputs too.
It’s also a straight Mini-LED display, so you’re getting precise, crisp picture quality, but with seriously high peak brightness. That’s great for playing in well lit rooms, but also excellent for creating more realistic and life-like images on screen. Perfect if you’re playing more atmospheric games on PS5.
A quality option that’s pretty affordable given its size and features.

Sony 65 Inch Mini LED QLED
So now we’re getting into the big leagues, with one of the most expensive TVs out there. This premium Mini LED TV from Sony actually has features designed exclusively for PS5, alongside some of the ‘basics’ like its 120hz refresh rate. These special features include Auto HDR Tone Mapping, which analyses HDR signals in real-time, and optimises the picture accordingly, in addition to Auto Genre Picture mode, which automatically switches to the TV to game mode and minimizes lag.
It’s also packed with other features that really optimize picture quality to the levels yuo’d expect for the price point. Mind you, it’s now sitting with a decent discount, bringing its price down from $2,999.99 to $2,698.00.

SAMSUNG 55-Inch Class Neo QLED 4K QN90C Series
I’d say out of all of these, this would be the ‘basic’ option for PS5 that’s probably going to be best suited to more casual gamers than die-hard enthusiast. It’s got everything you would need, but doesn’t have some of the more gamer-orientated features you’d get in other TVs. That being said, it is an excellent option to go for if you’re looking for something more multi-purpose and is currently sitting with a huge 43% discount on Amazon.
A good mid-ground option that will work very nicely with PS5 and for everyday usage too.
