If you want to switch to PC gaming or were thinking about upgrading to a new one, then opting for a prebuilt gaming PC is a good choice. It saves you the trouble of ordering components and putting them together, and the best part is that there are plenty of combinations available, catering to various budgets.

That being said, we came across the Skytech Azure 3 gaming PC on sale on Amazon with a 10% price cut. This dropped its price from $1,429.99 to $1,279.99, meaning you’ll save $150 with this offer.

Skytech Gaming Azure 3 (9700X)

Ryzen 7 9700X 3.8 GHz (5.5GHz), NVIDIA RTX 5060, 1TB NVMe SSD, 32GB DDR5 RAM 6000 RGB, 850W Gold ATX 3 PSU, 360mm ARGB AIO, Wi-Fi, Win 11

What is in this gaming PC?

Ryzen 7 9700X

The Ryzen 7 9700X is a great mid-range processor that is capable of being paired with high-end GPUs, but even with budget cards, it should cause a bottleneck at lower resolutions. We reviewed the Ryzen 7 9700X by pairing it with the RTX 4070 Ti Super. In Cyberpunk 2077 and Days Gone, running at 1080p low settings, we got 325 and 240 FPS.

What this means is that it can easily churn out instructions quickly according to the needs of the GPU. So, paired with the RTX 5060, it shouldn’t cause any issues. Besides that, it also has excellent productivity as it managed 20,184 and 17,290 points in the Cinebench R23 and Geekbench multi-core tests, respectively. However, keep in mind that we tested this processor when it was limited to 65W, but after the update that allowed it to be ramped up to 105W, you should experience better output.

RTX 5060

In the RTX 50-series lineup, the RTX 5060 is the entry-level graphics card with 8GB GDDR7 VRAM. While that is a topic of hot debate, 8GB should be enough for 1080p and 1440p gaming, and it also has DLSS 4 and MFG to increase its gaming out. While we haven’t tested this GPU yet, there are various online reviews available that we can leverage.

The folks over at TechSpot reviewed it, and it had decent performance at FHD and QHD. It managed 66 FPS in Cyberpunk 2077 at 1440p high settings, and the output at 1080p was even better with 100 FPS. Dying Light 2 ran with 56 and 80 FPS, respectively. So, 4K is out of the question, but gaming at these resolutions is possible.

Other components

This gaming PC comes with 1TB NVMe SSD, 32GB DDR5 RAM, 850W gold PSU, and a 360mm AIO CPU cooler. So, there are no short ends, and the only aspect that could need upgrading is the storage. Besides that, all of these components should deliver a great working and gaming experience.

Is this gaming PC for you?

This gaming PC offers excellent value, especially with the price cut, as it has decent hardware and a powerful processor. So, you should be able to easily handle productive workflows with it, and gaming should also be a breeze, but you’ll need to keep the resolution and in-game settings at a manageable level as the RTX 5060 isn’t the strongest GPU out there.
