What’s in this gaming PC?Â
We’ll go over each component individually to see whether this gaming PC is worth it and to provide a complete picture to you.
CPU: Ryzen 5 5500
The processor in this gaming PC is the Ryzen 5 5500, which is an AM4 CPU with 6 cores and 12 threads. It has a base and boost clock speed of 3.6GHz and 4.2GHz, respectively. It is based on the Zen 3 architecture and should deliver enough performance to complement the RTX 5060, whether you’re playing at 1080p or 1440p.

GPU: Gigabyte RTX 5060 WINDFORCE OC
The RTX 5060 features 8GB GDDR7 VRAM with a 128-bit interface width connection. The total memory bandwidth of this graphics card is 448GB/sec. While 8GB VRAM is a hot topic in the gaming industry, the biggest weapon in this card’s arsenal is DLSS 4 with Multi-Frame Generation, which can significantly increase its performance.

Motherboard: MSI A520M Pro M-ATX
To complement the Ryzen 5 5500, there needs to be an AM4 motherboard, and in this gaming PC, you get the MSI A520M Pro, which is a micro ATX board with measurements of 9.6 in. x 8.3 in. (24.4 cm x 21 cm).
Due to its small size, it has a maximum memory capacity of 64 GB and has only two slots, which means at max you can put two sticks of 32GB DDR4 to get to 64 GB. The maximum memory speed supported is 3200 MHz, which the PC comes with, but it can be taken to 4600+ MHz by using the A-XMP OC mode.
RAM: Corsair 16GB Vengeance 3,200 MHz DDR4
The AWD-IT X= gaming PC features 16GB (2×8) DDR4 RAM running at a maximum of 3,200 MHz. While this may seem like it isn’t enough, 16GB is enough to run various games, and since you’ll be playing at 1080p or 1440p, it shouldn’t be an issue.

Is this deal worth it?
While many of the components, besides the GPU, aren’t the latest, if you’re looking for a gaming PC that can run games at FHD and QHD without any issues and don’t want to burn a hole in your pocket, this deal is a solid option. Also, you’ll be glad to know that AWD-IT offers free delivery across mainland UK in 4-5 working days, according to its website.
