What’s in this PC?
GPU
So you’re getting an RTX 5070 here, which is a brilliant card for 1080p and 1440, and at a push can be used for 4K, too. Since the only RTX 5070 series card we’ve tested is an ASUS OC edition, we can use this to give you a rough idea of what to expect in terms of raw performance. With Cyberpunk 2077 on Ultra Settings with Ray Tracing on, it managed 72fps at 1080p, 45fps at 1440p, and 21fps at 4K. Obviously, the sweet spot here is 1440p, and it really comes alive when you boost it with DLSS and MFG.
CPU
We’ve quacked on about the Ryzen 7 7800X3D ever since we reviewed it, and with good reason. It’s still one of the absolute best gaming CPUs on the market, and it’s now much more affordable than when it was released, too. It’s very much a gaming-focused processor, with a small core and thread count of 8 and 16, making other non-X3D Ryzen CPUs better for hybrid gaming and productivity uses. That being said, the 7800X3D has a huge 96MB L3 cache and a high boost clock speed of 5GHz, making it ideal for high fps gaming and a good pairing with the RTX 5070.
Storage and RAM
At this price point, we wouldn’t expect to see the absolute best of the best when it comes to RAM and storage, but there’s still a decent offering here. You’ve got 32GB of DDR5 RAM with 5200Mhz memory speeds, which puts it at the lower-to-mid end. You’ve also got a hefty 2TB NVMe SSD, which is quite large for this type of build. There’s no mention of whether it’s Gen4 or Gen5, but if we had to guess, we’d say it’s Gen4, considering the overall build cost. If so, it’s more than enough for most people and will provide ample storage and fast data transfer.

Who’s this deal for?
For under $1700, this is a very well-priced PC in our opinion, given the fact that it has a large SSD and what is widely recognized as one of the best gaming CPUs for the price. It’s also a great-looking PC, thanks to its tempered glass panels and RGB, and one that we think would look fantastic in any setup.
If this is still a little expensive for you, you may want to consider going for an RTX 5060 gaming PC, which is great for 1080p and decent for 1440p when you use DLSS and MFG. Or if you’re going for something slightly more powerful, you may want to consider an RTX 5080, which can be found for around $2600 in the sales. This will be a better option for 4K gaming, and a better option than the 5070Ti from a price-to-performance perspective, in our opinion.
