MSI has been discounting the living daylights out of its graphics cards recently, and it looks like some are still holding strong at their Black Friday pricing. Take this MSI RTX 5060 Ti 16GB graphics card, for instance, which is down $55, reduced from $514.99 to $459.99, and at its lowest price on Amazon. It dropped to this record-low on November 20th, according to price tracker camelcamelcamel, and we think it’s a great value considering you’re essentially only paying a touch over MSRP for overclocked performance. This is the type of card that’s ideal for 1080p and 1440p gaming, and also serves as an excellent, cost-effective option for those who require more VRAM for more demanding creative workloads.

MSI Gaming RTX 5060 Ti 16G Ventus 2X OC Plus Graphics Card

(16GB GDDR7, 128-bit, Extreme Performance: TBA MHz, DisplayPort x 3 2.1a, HDMI 2.1b, NVIDIA Blackwell Architecture)

Key features of this MSI Gaming RTX 5060 Ti 16G Ventus 2X OC Plus Graphics Card

Nvidia Blackwell Architecture

This card is built on Nvidia’s new architecture, which boasts some significant performance and efficiency improvements across the board. Notably, cards like this have 4th-gen ray tracing cores, 5th-gen tensor cores for enhanced AI-acceleration and machine learning, and faster GDDR7 VRAM. Additionally, it features DLSS4 with MFG, Nvidia’s latest upscaling technology that inserts multiple frames between existing frames, resulting in a higher perceived framerate.

Cooling system

You’ve got two Stormforce fans here, which feature a seven-blade design with a claw texture that increases air pressure effectively. These fans can also switch off entirely thanks to MSI’s ZERO FROZR technology when temperatures fall below a certain threshold. Added to this, there’s also your standard array of heat pipes designed to whisk away heat from the GPU, and a metal backplate for more rigidity and additional cooling.

Overclocked performance

This card is factory overclocked to 2602 MHz, which is a fair bit higher than your standard 2570 MHz options. In Extreme Performance mode, via the MSI Center, this card can read 2617MHz, and this can go even higher with manual tuning.

Things to consider

For the price, you’re not paying a massive premium for something that’s overclocked, so it’s a pretty good deal in all honesty. The only real consideration to make is whether you should spend around $150 more and go for an RTX 5070 instead. This would be a better option if you’re looking for superior 1440p gaming performance, but for handling non-gaming tasks, like 3D rendering and video editing, we’d say you would be better off with the RTX 5060 Ti’s larger amount of VRAM. We’re spotting a fair few graphics cards on sale right now, so check out our top picks below to see what’s out there.
