The Threadripper PRO 3975WX is a strong mid-tier option in AMD’s Threadripper PRO 3000 Series CPUs. It remains a very much high-end CPU, making it a solid foundation for workstation builds if you don't want to spring for something more expensive like the Threadripper Pro 3995WX or newer-generation Threadripper Pro chips.

Despite its lower price, you retain premium workstation features, including a 32-core/64-thread configuration, 8-channel memory support with ECC, 128 PCIe 4.0 lanes, and AMD's PRO Security suite.
