If you’re looking for a QHD monitor that’s designed for very high refresh rate gaming with super low motion blur, then this deal is well worth checking out. This Acer Predator QHD monitor has crashed to its lowest price ever on Amazon, and is now coming in at $519.99 with 20% off its list price.
acer Predator Gaming Monitor 27″ WQHD 2560 x 1440 IPS
So let’s dive right into this. What you’ve got here is an IPS monitor with a 360Hz refresh rate and 0.05ms response time. This in itself would be great for competitive gaming, but since this is a more premium monitor, it goes a step further, specifically with its Nvidia G-Sync Pulsar technology. This, in short, further reduces motion blur for incredible clarity, almost as if you were gaming at 1000Hz. On the picture quality side, it’s not bad as it has decent DCI-P3 color coverage and good color accuracy (90% and Delta E<2), but I’d say this is very much a gaming-performance-first monitor, rather than a do-it-all display for hybrid usage.
On the design front, it has everything you’d expect from a premium gaming monitor. A fully adjustable, ergonomic stand, zero-frame design, and simple, but striking overall aesthetic.

Who is this gaming monitor for?
This monitor is very much designed for competitive gaming, and for those who prioritize gaming performance over getting the absolute top-tier picture color, brightness, and contrast, of which a QD-OLED would be the superior choice.
Things to consider and alternatives
So the big thing to consider here is whether you want something that ticks a few more boxes, specifically for picture quality. At this price range, you can generally find QHD 240Hz QD-OLED monitors, which have VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400 certifications, and will showcase games at their best. They’re also going to be better for video editing and design work, as they usually have 99% DCI-P3 color. MSI would be my first point of call if you want to get as much bang for your buck, so be sure to check out our top gaming monitor deals below to see what’s out there.
