What we like about this Stormcraft RTX 5070 Ti gaming PC
Excellent graphics card for 1440p with strong 4K capabilities
At the core of this build, you have the impressive RTX 5070 Ti, which essentially ticks all the boxes for those looking for high refresh gaming at 1440p at ultra settings, solid 4K performance, and handling of demanding creative workloads. With 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM, 4th-gen ray tracing cores, and 5th-gen tensor cores powering FLSS and MFG, performance can be boosted beyond its raw capabilities, and with features like 9th-gen Nvidia encoders, it’s a powerful pick for video editors and creative professionals, too.
A powerful CPU for more than just gaming
Its Intel Core Ultra 9 285 is a high-end gaming and workstation CPU, with a beefy 24 cores, which boasts excellent performance across the board, although not quite as punchy for gaming as something like the Ryzen 7 9800X3D. It’s the type of CPU that’s going to be well-suited to handling video editing, streaming, demanding multitasking, and running loads of apps at the same time. Is it the best gaming CPU? No, but it is a well-rounded, future-proof pick that pairs well with the broad capabilities of the RTCX 5070 Ti.
32GB of DDR5 for improved gaming and multitasking performance
While 16GB of DDR5 is great, 32GB is now becoming the sweet spot, especially if you’re playing demanding AAA titles, and editing huge files in applications like Blender and Premiere Pro.
2TB SSD for speedy boot times and ample storage space
This type of build lends itself well to split gaming and workstation usage, so an SSD this size is the best way to go to ensure you don’t run out of space too quickly, especially with some games coming in at 100 GB.
Robust power supply and cooling for top-tier performance, and future upgrades
This build has an 850W Gold PSU, which provides ample power for the RTX 5070 Ti, and beyond if you’re planning on upgrading in the future. The same can be said for its higher-end cooling architecture, which is a 360mm AIO combined with seven aRGB fans and a roomy dual-chamber PC case for optimal airflow.
Who should buy this Stormcraft RTX 5070 Ti gaming PC?
As mentioned, this is a gaming and productivity powerhouse that’s very competitively priced right now, and far enough away for your typical RTX 5080 to make sense from a price-to-performance perspective, too. It’s not the build to absolutely max out framerates with the RTX 5070 Ti, but it is a genuinely versatile, all-rounder that would suit split usage very well. Personally, if I were a content creator, editing video, streaming, recording gameplay, and gaming with loads of applications running at the same time, this would be a fantastic pick for the price, and make for a pretty eye-catching statement piece in my setup, too.
