Excellent graphics card for 1440p and 4K
The RTX 5070 Ti 16GB would be our choice for the best graphics card for 1440p and 4K gaming, without completely breaking the bank. It features 8960 CUDA cores, a solid 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM, a 256-bit bus, which is larger than the 5070, and a high 2295MHz base clock speed. It excels at 1440p at ultra settings, and does quite well at 4K, but obviously, the RTX 5080 has the advantage. From a price-to-performance perspective, the RTX 5070 Ti is a winner, though, and well worth considering.
One of the best ‘last-gen’ gaming CPUs
The Ryzen 7 7800X3D may have been released some time ago, but it’s still one of the very best gaming CPUs you can buy. It features 8 cores, 16 threads, a boost clock speed of 5GHz, and a large 96MB L3 cache, designed to drastically reduce frame latency. High-speed RAM

How will this PC perform?
RTX 5070 Ti 16GB graphics cards tend to easily hit triple-digit framerates at 1440p and mid-level double digits at 4K at max settings. From some of the benchmarks we’ve seen, games like Cyberpunk 2077 are playable at around 120fps at 1440p and 65fps at 4K, which is not bad at all. Of course, with more advanced settings, like ray tracing, enabled, you can expect these to dip a fair bit, but for 1440p, it should still be quite playable even with demanding games.

In short, if you’re someone looking for something great for 1440p and 4K gaming, this is a solid option to go for at its current price. The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is brilliant for gaming, but for productivity, you may want to lean towards something with a higher core and thread count, like a higher-end 14th Gen CPU, for instance.
