This Samsung 24″ FHD gaming monitor is back at its best price of the year on Amazon and it’s super budget-friendly
Table of Contents
This excellent Samsung 24-inch Odyssey G3 gaming monitor is currently 40% off its list price on Amazon, coming in at just $119.99. For a Samsung gaming monitor that covers the basics very well and delivers on aesthetics, I’d say that’s a seriously appealing price.
Here’s a quick run-through of what you’re getting here, so you can see if it’s for you. In short, it’s a VA FHD, 180Hz gaming monitor with FreeSync Premium. It’s very much geared towards those who are looking for something that’ll offer a smooth gaming experience in competitive titles, but without breaking the bank, and essentially ticks off the basics very well. Of course, at this price point, it scales back a little in a few areas. For instance, its HDR offering is quite basic; there’s no USB-C connection, built-in speakers, or VA panels, which, while great for contrast, aren’t quite as good for viewing angles.

What we like about this Samsung Odyssey G3 gaming monitor
180Hz with FreeSync for smooth gameplay
You can use this monitor to play at up to 180fps in FHD, which is more than enough for competitive gaming, and with FreeSync, you can expect minimal stutter, motion blur, and ghosting, too.
Gaming features designed to give you the edge
This monitor notably includes a Black Equalizer feature, which exposes details in darker areas of the map, allowing you to see opponents in the shadows. This can give you a decent advantage in competitive games.
FHD and 24-inches is great for picture clarity and competitive gaming
At this size, 1080p resolution looks surprisingly crisp and clear, and gaming on a smaller screen, especially with first-person shooters, is often far more advantageous than a larger alternative.
Slim bezels and premium design without the added expense
It’s a great-looking monitor with excellent Samsung-standard build quality, and thanks to its thinner bezels, can seamlessly be used in a dual monitor setup, too. It’s also fully ergonomic and adjustable, so you can find the best position, without spending extra on a separate monitor arm.
