This Samsung 55 inch Neo QLED TV is a great mid-range pick and it’s dropped to its lowest price ever on Amazon
Table of Contents
This Samsung 55-inch Neo QLED TV is 33% off its list price on Amazon and has been reduced to $597.99, its best price ever at the retailer.
This TV stands out as a top mid-range pick for those looking for outstanding picture quality, excellent gaming performance, and stunning, streamlined design. While it’s 33% off its list price, the price tracking history shows a more modest price drop; however, that doesn’t take away from how much this TV brings to the table for under $600. This deal is a great way to get something that’s a level up from your typical, more affordable 55-inch alternative, but still ensures you’re getting the most bang for your buck as possible.

Why we like this Samsung 55-inch Neo QLED TV deal
Neo QLED is a big step up from QLED, but this deal closes the price gap
This TV essentially has an advanced QLED display and features mini-LEDs for superior brightness, contrast, and deeper blacks than standard QLED models. They’re notably more accurate, too, and can create a more nuanced viewing experience, making them great for HDR content.

Its premium processor sets it apart from some more affordable alternatives
Instead of a basic style of processor found in more budget-friendly options, this Samsung TV packs the impressive NQ4 AI Gen2, which can use neural networks to analyze, optimize, and enhance picture quality, and has an extensive suite of features to do so. Notably, it can even take SDR content and make it appear closer to HDR, which is very impressive for the price.
Motion Xcelerator 144Hz is a game-changer…literally
Samsung’s Motion Xcelerator 144Hz gives you everything you need for high fps gaming, allowing for up to 144fps at 4K, with compatible PCs, and up to 120fps with high-end consoles, like the PS5, all while remaining stutter-free and super smooth.
It features FreeSync Premium Pro, just like the best gaming monitors on the market
FreeSync Premium Pro is the top-tier of adaptive sync technology, and it’s designed to dramatically improve HDR gaming performance. If you’re playing games at max settings with HDR on, this is going to make everything far smoother than a TV featuring just FreeSync or FreeSync Premium.
High-end, super slim design, but without OLED pricing
OLED TVs tend to be streamlined as they’re not traditionally backlit, which can make alternatives a little bulky. The good thing about this deal is that this TV is notably slim, but it is substantially more affordable than an OLED equivalent. It also makes it much easier to wall mount for a more flush, seamless look.
Who’s this deal for, and is it good value for money?
There are plenty of 55-inch mini-LED options to choose from, and if you wanted to, you could grab one for cheaper than this fairly easily.
That being said, this isn’t a base-level type of model, but rather a more premium mid-range option that’s going to appeal to those who want high-end picture quality, features, a more powerful processor, and sleek overall design touches.
For the price, the big thing here is that it’s at its lowest ever on Amazon, which is where you’re getting the biggest win. That, and it’s also a 2025 model, so it’s not exactly ancient, either!
Things to consider and alternatives
As mentioned, there are more than a few alternatives to go for, but if I were recommending something that’s still impressive, but more budget-friendly, I’d say your best it to check out Hisense and TCL options.
Both Hisense and TCL have TVs that go all-in on gaming features, and their mini-LED lineup is surprisingly affordable. This Hisense TV is a winner at under $400, and this TCL TV is a slightly more expensive option with impressive anti-haloing technology.
