Why this WiFi 7 router stood out for us
To begin with, this router is very easy to set up, as all you need to do is download the Tether app and follow the in-app instructions. With this app, you can also control various aspects, monitor network status, install firmware updates, enable parental controls, and more. For wired connectivity, it has two 2.5G ports and three 1G ports, meaning it can easily handle a gigabit or multi-gigabit internet connection.
However, for wireless operation, it only has 5GHz and 2.4GHz bands that can accommodate speeds of 4,324 and 688 Mbps, respectively. This totals to 5 Gbps with 5 streams, which should be more than enough for any task at hand. The 5 external antennas provide a 2,400 sq. ft. coverage, which is great for a medium-sized working or living space.
It also offers features such as Multi-Link Operation (MLO), which leverages different bands to deliver a high-speed, uninterrupted connection regardless of where you are or whether you’re moving or sitting still.

Should you get this router?
Looking at the specifications and features, this seems like a good WiFi 7 router and is also light on the pocket, but it doesn’t offer the 6GHz band. So, the question is, why not go for a WiFi 6E router that’ll provide tri-band connectivity, although not the same bandwidth as WiFi 7. This is something to consider, but even with the two bands, it should provide a strong and stable connection, and with the other features it has, the overall experience should be good.
