If you’re thinking about investing in some new components for your gaming rig, the RX 7700XT could be the perfect GPU, and it’s currently available at a sizzling discount.

Originally priced at $449, the RX 7700XT delivered its promise of solid 1440p performance, but it was overshadowed by the more powerful 7800XT, which was priced only $50 higher. However, over time, AMD took note of the poor response and lowered the price, creating a noticeable gap between the two cards. As a result, the 7700XT has become a more appealing option, especially now with its current price of just $379.

Is the RX 7700 XT deal good for gaming?

In our review of the RX 7700 XT, we tested it across a range of games, from competitive titles like CS:GO to more graphically demanding ones like Cyberpunk 2077. During our CS:GO test, the card delivered over 500 FPS at 1080p, and even at 1440p, it was still capable of over 400 FPS. While competitive games are well-optimized and don’t require heavy resources, we wanted to push the card further. Turning to one of the most demanding modern AAA titles, Cyberpunk 2077, the 7700XT delivered 120+ FPS at 1080p Ultra and over 70 FPS at 1440p. 4K, however, is where the card starts to reach its limits, and if you’re looking to test out ray tracing, this card might not be the best fit for that task. That said, the RX 7700 XT is a solid mid-range option for exceptional 1080p and 1440p performance, making it a great choice for gamers looking for strong performance without breaking the bank.
