The upcoming release of the Nvidia RTX 4060 has generated a lot of excitement among gamers and tech enthusiasts but, unfortunately, there is still very little information about the GPU’s specs and pricing. While we can only speculate about the RTX 4060 price, looking at the trends of previous releases can give us some indication of where it might land. It is widely expected that the RTX 4060 will be priced significantly higher than its predecessor, the RTX 3060, which has an MSRP of $329.

The RTX 4090 and RTX 4080, which debuted with the Ada Lovelace architecture, were launched with much higher MSRPs than their previous generational equivalents, with Nvidia increasing prices by $200-$500 USD. Therefore, it’s safe to say that the RTX 4060 will likely follow a similar pricing trend, and we could expect an MSRP of around $450.

However, this is still speculation, and the actual price could be different, depending on various factors such as market demand, competition, and supply chain issues. As a mainstream GeForce GPU, we can anticipate that the RTX 4060 will be priced higher than the entry-level RTX 3060, as it is expected to have improved features and performance. Nevertheless, only time will tell how much this exciting new GPU will cost.

In conclusion, the new-gen GPU is definitely coming with a higher price tag than the previous gen. Although we’ve all been expecting to see some price drops in the GPU market, Nvidia seems to keep punching the limits. That being said, though, Team Green is delivering entry-level GPUs with DLSS and 3rd gen ray tracing, which will definitely increase the performance of this GPU in a lot of games.

Is an RTX 4060 coming out?

Although Nvidia has not yet announced an official release date for the GeForce RTX 4060, there are rumors circulating that the RTX 4060 Ti and RTX 4070 may be released prior to it. It is speculated that both of these graphics cards will utilize the same GPU as the RTX 4070 Ti.

Furthermore, Nvidia is currently dealing with an excess supply of RTX 3000 GPUs, and it is expected that they will delay the launch of the GeForce RTX 4060 for as long as possible while attempting to sell off the remaining stock.
