First to win the race in releasing next-gen graphics cards is Intel. Team Blue doesn’t have much market share in the discrete GPU space, but a new generation of GPUs has piqued interest in what it has to offer. With Intel announcing Battlemage on December 3rd, around a month ahead of the competition, it comes with some great-value options, starting with the Arc B580 and Arc B570.
The Intel Arc B580 has been available to buy since December 13th, 2024 – and now the B570 has arrived (as of January 16th). With some of the biggest retailers on the web stocking up on both of these budget GPUs, we’ve laid out a list of the best places to find them. So, without further ado, let’s jump straight into the list.
- GPU: BMG-G21
- VRAM: 12GB GDDR6
- Memory bus width: 192-bit
- Boost clock speed: 2,670 MHz
- Shading units: 2,560
- Bandwidth: 456.0 GB/s
- Base clock speed: 2,670 MHz

How much does an Intel Arc Battlemage GPU cost?
First of all, Battlemage refers to the entire series and is based on the latest Xe2 GPU architecture. Intel has recently discussed Xe2 in more detail here. This is the successor to ‘Alchemist’ based on Xe, all of which arrived back in 2022 ranging from $110 (A310) up to $349 (A770 16GB).
Intel has now revealed what the first two Arc Battlemage (B-Series) graphics cards will cost:
- Intel Arc B580 price: starting at $249
- Intel Arc B570 price: starting at $219
Is there an Intel Arc B570 pre order?
We actually saw some pre-orders for the Intel Arc B580 between its announcement on December 3rd and widespread availability on the 13th. In fact, this actually led to some customers getting their B580 delivered early in what was assumedly a retailer error.
Likewise, we’ve already seen a bunch of B570 pre-orders live just ahead of the release date. Generally speaking, pre-orders for new PC hardware such as graphics cards are uncommon, but the trend has continued with Intel’s board partners for the Battlemage cards. For example, you can pre-order the B750 on B&H Photo Video for $229.99.
