How much will the RTX 5080 cost?

As revealed in their CES keynote, Nvidia has put the MSRP for the RTX 5080 Founder’s Edition at $999 / £979. Custom AIB models from other manufacturers like ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI etc. with their own custom cooling and overclocking will undoubtedly cost more however, so you could expect to pay hundreds more if you’re after a particularly high-end AIB.

Will there be an RTX 5080 pre order?

RTX 5080 pre orders are going to be available on certain retailers though not on others, with different outlets handling the sale differently around the launch of these cards. Overclockers UK states that pre orders will go live on their site on the 30th of January, and they’ve already listed many AIBs on their site. Other retailers like Best Buy just allow you to sign up for an email alert (or an alert via the Best Buy app) to tell you when they’re available for purchase.
