Apple has officially launched the Macbook Air 15 inch pre-order. You can now head over to their site or a trusted retailer to order the new MacBook today.

During the WWDC event, Apple made several announcements, including the unveiling of the Vision Pro and iOS 17. Alongside this, Apple officially confirmed the release date for the MacBook Air.

Expect this new laptop to hit the shelves on June 15th with pre-orders already open. So, if you’re keen to be one of the first with this new device, keep on reading to discover which retailers are accepting preorders today.

Where to buy the MacBook Air 15 inch – expected retailers

You can now pre-order the Macbook Air directly from the Apple store and Best Buy. Although, once the new laptop has officially launched we also expect other retailers such as Amazon, Newegg, and Currys (UK) to stock this device.

It has a retail price of $1,299 (£1,399) for the 8GB RAM and 256GB option. Rising to $1,499 (£1,599) for the 512GB variant.

Apple is promising some incredible new features on the 2023 15-inch MacBook Air. Expect new and improved processing speeds thanks to the Apple M2 chip and a better 18-hour battery life.

According to developers, the new MacBook Air will deliver “2x faster performance”, 50% faster web browsing, and 50% longer battery life compared to an Intel Core i7 PC laptop.

The display is also getting an upgrade. Expect a Liquid Retina display that supports one billion colors and has double the resolution of comparable laptops.

If you’re a keen movie or music streamer, you’ll be happy to hear about the MacBook Air’s immersive sound system. With this model, you’ll get Dolby Atmos and Spatial Audio support so you can enjoy a complete three-dimensional sound experience.
