16GB RX 9060 XT accidentally listed cheaper than 8GB model at one retailer

AMD released the RX 9060 XT on June 5th, which means it has been a couple of weeks since the budget card hit shelves. On launch day, we saw a solid amount of availability for both the 8GB and 16GB cards across a range of retailers in regions such as the UK and the US. As you’d suspect, the 8GB cards retail for less than the model with double its VRAM. However, one retailer mistakenly listed the 16GB model for less than its 8GB equivalent.
KR System, a retailer based in Poland, was spotted listing the ASRock Radeon RX 9060 XT Challenger 16GB model for 1,335.20 PLN – thanks to an 18% discount. Considering the 8GB model costs 1,436.68 PLN (at full price), the deal made it an absolute steal. The RX 9060 XT received positive reviews at launch, with the price being one of its most important factors for success.
RX 9060 XT 16GB cheaper than 8GB equivalent; it has since been removed
Sadly, we can now confirm that the cheaper listing has now been removed from the site, which more or less confirms this was an accident. We can see that the 8GB card is still available for 1,436,68 PLN, but the 16GB card is nowhere to be found at the time of writing. We can only speculate that it will return soon with a revised price tag.

For any customer who was lucky enough to spot this early and make an order, you’ll have to wait and see if KR System honors the lower price tag. If so, it could prove to be a relatively costly mistake as a result of the fairly confusing naming conventions with the industry’s latest budget graphics cards. Nvidia has a similar situation with the 8GB and 16GB RTX 5060 Ti cards. In AMD’s previous generation, 8GB was reserved for the non-XT model, which has yet to be announced, or even rumored at all.
