AIDA64 release notes reveal that another Intel Arc Battlemage GPU is on the way
Table of Contents
Even before Computex this year, we saw rumors of Intel releasing new graphics cards, with shipping manifests showing the BMG-G31 on the way. Then, at Computex, it launched a new GPU, but it was the Arc Pro B60, a more enterprise-focused card rather than a consumer GPU for gamers.
Well, now that might be changing, and we’re looking to acquire another model. This time, it might just be a card to add to its current Battlemage lineup, as the most recent AIDA64 beta release notes have added GPU information for the Intel Battlemage BMG-G31 chip.

Thanks to PCI-SIG, we also know the card plans on using the PCIe Gen 5 interface, a change from its current lineup that only uses Gen 4. It also furthers the core count up to 32 Xe2, compared to the 20 found on the B580. Not much else is known about the card, but we may expect a launch later this year.
The rest of the release notes
Another big addition to the AIDA64 program is the support for PCIe Gen 5 hardware. Having just been released last week by PCI-SIG, it’s a surprise to see it already being added to the public domain, considering it’s unlikely to be added to hardware within the next decade, but it could provide a testing platform for that hardware at least.
Other additions to the software include updating the SensorPanel manager and adding support for HID UPS devices. It also added it for the ASUS NUC 15 Pro. Alongside the Intel Battlemage card, the beta also adds information for the AMD Radeon Pro W7400 and RX 7400, both Navi 33-based GPUs that are also expected to be released.
Finally, it references some motherboard-specific sensor information. All in all, AIDA64 provides a great piece of kit for tracking and optimizing your hardware, and gives us an insight into some upcoming hardware.
