What is MSRP?
MSRP stands for Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price. This is the price companies like Nvidia and AMD recommend manufacturers use when selling their graphics cards. However, most custom GPUs usually sell at or even above this price, especially when demand is high. Third-party models include additional features or clock speed tweaks that may bump up the price, too. So when a GPU drops below MSRP, it’s a great opportunity for buyers.
The RTX 5060 and RTX 5070 are part of Nvidia’s latest RTX 50-series lineup, boasting the Blackwell architecture. These cards offer solid performance at 1440p, with the RTX 5070 even delivering smooth performance in some games at 4K. Both cards can also utilize DLSS 4’s Multi Frame Generation, a feature exclusive to the RTX 50-series cards, designed to deliver a significant performance boost in games.
As for the RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT, these are two of the newest cards from AMD. Both boast 16GB of GDDR6 VRAM and are excellent for 1440p gaming.
