Table of Contents
We’ve spotted one of MSI’s top RTX 5080 graphics cards at its lowest price in 30 days at Newegg, with a $107 discount that has dropped its price from $1,356.99 to $1,249.99. Considering this graphics card is overclocked and features a sleek, all-white design, we think it’s actually very well priced for an RTX 5080. This is the type of card that’s going to be great for those looking to game in 4K or very high fps 1440p, and it’s also going to be very effective at handling complex creative workloads, too. It’s currently one of the most affordable RTX 5080 graphics cards we’ve come across on Newegg, and we think it’s well worth checking out while it’s reduced.

Key features of this MSI Ventus GeForce RTX 5080 16GB graphics card
Cooing features
This card features a triple TORX Fan 5.0 setup, which is designed for maximum airflow and volume, reduced turbulence, and lower operational noise levels. As usual, you’ve got Zero Frozr technology, which can shut off the fans for silent operation when not under heavy loads, too. On top of that, you’ve got your Nickel-plated copper baseplate and square-shaped core pipes, which are designed for maximum heat capture and dissipation, combined with a rigid metal backplate for increased structural support and further cooling.
Overclocked performance
This card is factory overclocked to 2640MHz, and can be pushed to 2655MHz in extreme performance mode via the MSI Center. This is great for those who want to get some extra gaming performance, but don’t fancy going all-in on manual tuning. That being said, software like MSI Afterburner can be used to push this card even further if you’re keen on maxing out performance.
Nvidia Blackwell architecture, 16GB of VRAM, and amazing 4K performance
This card is built on Nvidia’s impressive Blackwell Architecture, which boasts 4th-gen ray tracing cores, 5th-gen tensor cores, and much faster GDDR7 VRAM. This card has 16GB of this, too, which, when combined with its large 256-bit bus width and high 10,752 CUDA core count, makes for an incredibly strong card for high-resolution gaming and complex 3D rendering tasks, too. Things to consider
This is actually a very good price for an RTX 5080 overclocked graphics card, considering that it’s very rare to find one at MSRP from our experience. The only thing to consider here would be whether you could save a touch more cash by going for a non-OC option. We’d always say an overclocked option is worth going for, but they’re not essential, especially as the RTX 5080 is a powerhouse already for 4K gaming, and with new features like MFG, you can push perceived framerates higher without the need for overclocking. But, as mentioned, this is one of the more affordable overclocked RTX 5080 graphics cards we’ve come across, so for the sake of saving maybe $100 or so, it may not be worth losing out on higher performance potential.
