Table of Contents
Black Friday is coming in hot, but we’ve spotted a cracking deal you can get right now on Amazon that’s well worth shouting about. This Alienware Aurora gaming PC is down almost $200, reduced from $1,845.00 to $1,649.99, and back at its lowest price ever, too. This PC packs an RTX 5070, Intel Core Ultra 7 265F, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 1TB SSD, which is a great combination for 1440p gaming at ultra settings, multitasking, and demanding productivity and creative workflows. For the price, this is a genuinely good deal, as Alienware pre-built systems carry a premium price tag due to their high-end build quality and design. We think it’s a knockout, Black Friday-worthy deal that’s worth jumping on while it’s at its lowest price again.
Alienware Aurora Gaming Desktop ACT1250 – NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070
What we like about this Alienware Aurora gaming PC
RTX 5070 graphics card
Probably one of the best graphics cards to go for if you’re looking to keep costs down, but still have something that’s good for 1440p at ultra settings. The RTX 5070 is built on Nvidia’s new Blackwell architecture, so it features higher bandwidth and faster GDDR7 VRAM, which somewhat makes up for it only being 12GB in this case. One of the big 50-series features here is DLSS 4 and MFG, which can be used to further enhance and optimize performance at higher resolutions, allowing this card to reach further than its raw power. In our review of an RTX 5070, while we noted that it didn’t live up to the ‘like an RTX 4090’ hype, it did perform very well at 1440p and can be used for 4K if you tweak a few settings. To give you an idea, it was able to get 108fps at 1440p and 45fps with ray tracing at ultra settings when tested with Cyberpunk 2077. Other games like Doom Eternal saw very high fps at ultra settings, like 316fps and 212fps with ray tracing.
Intel Core Ultra 7 265F
This processor is one of the best out of the Intel Core Ultra lineup, especially from a price-to-performance perspective, and a much more versatile alternative to the likes of the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, which is often found paired with the RTX 5070. It boasts a very high core and thread count (20 + 20), a large 30MB L3 cache, and a very high boost clock speed of 5.3GHz. On top of that, it also has a dedicated NPU with 13 TOPS for AI-accelerated tasks. In our review, we were very impressed with its efficiency and multi-core performance. We think it’s a productivity powerhouse, great for gaming, and great value, too.
32GB of RAM and 1TB SSD
This is a good amount of RAM to have, which should help with overall system responsiveness, gaming, and multitasking. It’s also going to be good if you’re using any RAM-intensive creative applications, such as some of those found in the Adobe Creative Suite. The 1TB SSD is good for most people, and can hold a fair few large AAA games, but you may want to upgrade if you also want to store larger files, like 4K footage, alongside them.
Design and other features
True to Alienware’s signature style, this PC looks super sleek, featuring AlienFX lighting and a tempered glass side panel, which gives you a glimpse of its inner workings. There are also other features intended for maximizing airflow, like its hexagonal vents and clean cable management, which are a perfect example of when utility meets design.

Considerations before buying
One of the gripes about the RTX 5070 is its 12GB of VRAM, which has its obvious limitations when it comes to higher resolutions and ray tracing. For the price, this is a very good deal and great value, especially considering it’s a premium Alienware pre-built, but you may be able to find an RTX 5070 Ti model from another brand for just a couple of hundred dollars more in sales. RTX 5070 Ti prebuilds have 16GB of GDDR7 and are much more capable when it comes to ray tracing at ultra settings in 1440p. Brands like iBuyPower or Skytech would be a good place to start your search, although you will be missing out on the sheer luxury and build quality of Alienware by doing so.
